These terms govern your use of Answered247 ("the Service", "we", "us"), an AI phone answering service operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
Answered247 answers telephone calls made to a phone number assigned to your business, using an automated AI receptionist. It collects caller details and enquiry information and delivers summaries to you by email and, optionally, SMS. Calls handled through the browser-based receptionist may also be processed in the same way.
Numbers assigned to your account are provided through our telephony partner and remain under our control. If your subscription ends, the number may be reclaimed and reallocated. Porting requests are handled case by case — contact us.
Calls are transcribed and processed by AI systems to generate responses and summaries, and recordings or transcripts may be attached to the summaries we send you. You are the controller of your callers' personal data; we process it on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.
We aim for continuous availability but the Service depends on third-party providers (telephony, AI, hosting) and is provided "as is" without a guaranteed service level. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly. Support: hello@answered247.co.uk.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost business, or missed opportunities arising from missed, dropped, or inaccurately summarised calls.
You may cancel at any time as described above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, present a security risk, or have unpaid fees, giving notice where reasonably practicable.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via your dashboard. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
